Our goal at Barkley Family Ministries is to reach more people for Jesus Christ. The majority of our ministry is in using music along with preaching to spread God's Word.
Using comedy and drama is just another facet of our ministry.
Sometimes you can use Humor to get your point across. We believe Christians should be the Happiest people in the world. We furthermore believe that you can be funny without any vulgarities or trashy humor.
Justin Thyme:Justin is a high-tech redneck that, while on a phone call from God, uses every excuse he can think up, but never really gives a reason for his lack of attendance to his local church. He also, after being under conviction, has taken a look at his own life and come up with a list of Hymns that have a different meaning and/or Title if we as Christians would be honest to God.
There is also more comedy in the writing stages right now.

We have a list of short 5-10 minute skits that are aimed directly at the Heart of situations that come daily into a Christian's life.
Some are written with Youth in mind, but can be directed toward the church in general also.

Not Now I'm On My Way To Church.
It's Just One Sin

Sometimes it takes a Dramatic Scene to paint your picture in the public's mind. We use very few props or scenery, but rather try to get the crowd to open their minds and use their imagination.
